Kim and Johnny - Engaged

Wednesday, March 4th, 2009

Kim and Johnny will be etched in my memory forever as part of my first wedding season. They called me a few months ago after they were referred to me by their friend Heidi, a photographer in L.A. Kim grew up in California far away from Johnny’s homeland, Scotland These guys are a lot of fun to photograph and I can’t wait for their wedding this summer. I was a little enamored with Johnny’s tattoos. Unfortunately, Jill doesn’t seem to think they would work as well on me.

Wednesday, March 4th, 2009

The day we chose for the session was supposed to be rainy, but as it turns out, we got nothing but beautiful party overcast skies with occassional peeks of sun. Katie and Mike brought their dog Juno and we spent about 2 hours hanging out and making photographs at a park near their home. Just minutes after ending the session, guess what? It started to rain! Ebell Club Wedding Photographers | Claudia & Alex

Wednesday, March 4th, 2009

Ahoy there, Claudia and Alex finally tied the knot at Ebell Club in Long Beach! I always love photographing weddings at Ebell Club. Ebell Club’s location, interior design, food, and service is absolutely great! I had the opportunity to photograph Claudia and Alex’s engagement photo session at the Japanese Friendship Garden in CSULB (Cal State University of Long Beach) about a month ago. This quirky couple wanted something from the norm, so we tried our best to deliver just that! Check it out!
