Ballerina Girl…a treasured experience!

Tuesday, October 7th, 2008

I never have time to put each and every wedding on our blog…just work work work…and try to rest in between…hopefully I’ll get into this new goal set routine soon.  And that is how I did this wedding…looking forward to another special couples’ wedding day, to share in their joy and to support them through the stressful parts, gracefully into experiencing the Song of Songs of their lives.  On my arrival at Avianto, I met with Claudia, the coordinator of the day and very friendly she walked me to

a shower

Tuesday, October 7th, 2008

A few months ago . . the weekend before Lawrance came to America, there was a “Smith Family Bridal Shower” where all of my aunts and most of my cousins came to shower me with blessings.  It was the first time in two years that I had seen most of them!!  My mom and sister did all the decorating . . . and they did a great job.  It was so colorful and fun . . . because, well, they used gerber daisies.  See how cute? And yes they made those really cute daisy cookies!! We ate at a local Chinese

Gosh, just the kind of announcement a girl wants her Hollywood superstar boyfriend to make to the gossip rags. Yes, I believe in marriage, someday I will do it, but now is not the right time. Translation, yes I would love to get married, just not to the chick I’m with. People Reports: DiCaprio, who has been [...]

I’m sitting here waiting for the clock to hit six so I can go home finally, so I figured why not post some more? Here are some more of my favorites from Lauren and Jesse’s wedding (warning- there are like 46 total, so they may span several posts). Allison getting her makeup done: Lauren in the chair: Awww, what a sweet sister. Her hair was really pretty: The bride getting her makeup done: Yay for married sisters! Anyway, that’s it for now. More to come!

in the photo booth

Saturday was the wedding of one of my really good, really longtime friends, and while they spent a lot of money on things I never would have dreamed of for a wedding and reception, one of the things they did stands out a lot as being really cool. When I got married, my mom put something like two one-time use cameras on every table at the reception. She’d first seen the idea at my - now get this straight - grandpa’s then-wife’s daughter’s reception. The idea is the guests take pictures of thin
