We are up to our eyeballs in shipping materials, biodegradable packing peanuts, and it seems like the boys in brown, purple, and yellow are knocking on the door daily! We’re living and breathing albums in our studio right now! Over the last few weeks, we’ve been getting delivery after delivery from our album designer in New Zealand… here are some images of some of the new features, covers, and personalization options! Location: Ipoh & Penang Venue: Syuen Hotel & G Hotel The stage was without spot lights. Bounce flash would have made things boring so I positioned a Pocket Wizard, plugged into my SB800 on the left of the stage. I used a +5 diopter lens attached to my 50mm to replicate a macro lens for this ring shot. I’m not a fan of spot colouring but I guess I’ll make an exception Lining up anxiously to collect their ‘Ang Pao’

by Randolph Quan Even if you’ve dreamed about getting married in a place far, far away your entire life, that doesn’t mean that you have the funds to actually pull it off the way you want it. The truth is, a destination wedding can be much more affordable for the bride and groom - it’s their guests that have to shell out the extra cost. But even then, an affordable destination wedding can be done for everyone if you make the right choices. First, plan well in advance. This gives both you

Back then, Wedding Dresses were always formal, seldom comfortable, and you had little freedom when it came to color and style.Fortunately, we’re no longer slaves to such wedding fashions! Of course, those old styles still exist; the bridal magazines are full of them. However, today’s bride h

I am out the door for a wedding, but I just wanted to share a few of my favorites from Melissa & Shawn’s wedding. They had an amazing wedding at Rip Van Winkle Gardens, and the day could not have been more beautiful. Blessings. Jason

Over the years, the entertainment industry has grown in leaps and bounds. A few years ago, the role of a Disk Jockey was purely to spin records. Welcome to the twenty first century. Above and beyond scratching and mere beat matching, professionals now incorporate full-length videos into their setup. Disc Jockeys are now the life of the party. There importance is such that people will only attend a function depending on the Disk Jockey outfit in charge. This truth is very clear in places like Tor

I am super excited and just thought I would share. I have recently found two companies. One is the Sustainable Group in Seattle. They sells green office paper products. Everything is locally made of recycled material, and is reusable. Plus they feel good to touch! I can not wait to get my new cd cases and folders. You can get these locally in Portland at The Office (in the Alberta neighborhood). The other company makes wedding albums. All of their lines are from 50% recycled paper, and sh

Ray and I are so proud that we recently won an award from the WPJA in their 2008 Q4 Contest in the “Emotion” category. The photo to the left is from Sara and Tony’s wedding at the Mountain Terrace . I think we did a great job capturing Tony’s emotion and his feeling of triumph after his vows! WPJA (Wedding Photojournalists Association) is a professional organization composed of photojournalists and wedding photographers from around the world. What sets its members apart in the industry is
